Between 2017 and 2018, the ReadyToGrids (R2G) committee created a reference framework which establishes a set of good practices and functional properties for reliable, active and communicating buildings that provide a host of services to their occupants and the power grids (heat, gas and electricity). This reference framework is fast becoming the energy extension of the R2S label and a label in its own right for the districts and building portfolios.
