Smart Hospital

The strategic idea of a smart or digital hospital is abandoned at the design stage time and time again due to a lack of support, understanding and tools to unlock the interdisciplinary potentials. Today, however, they constitute one of the main keys to achieving the cost effectiveness and cost reduction goals. They have also become essential considering the changes to our health system and our society.

This is the thinking behind the idea for a Smart Hospital working group within the SBA. Its aim is to collaboratively design a Smart Programing creation tool, which help decision makers, operators and project engineers – alongside their consultants and programmers – to successfully implement their project for a smart hospital.
